Identification
Strong identification i.e. identity verification of a customer representative + detecting/recording information on political influence.
How to send an electronic identification:
- Enter the recipient’s e-mail address or use quick add via + icon.
- Enter the name of the individual being identified.
This name is automatically compared with the name received from online banking.
- Choose the identification methods.* (See list below)
- Choose the language u want the request to be sent. (Finnish by default)
Please note! The personal messages will not be translated.
- Leave Ask for PEP information selected (political influence).
- Activate Add personal message to email.
The text added here is visible to the customer in the email they receive as a so-called cover message. Under Choose text template you can choose a standard message.
- Activate Add text to identification form.
Text added to this is visible to the customer on the actual identification request form. Under Choose text template you can choose a standard text.
- When the identification request is complete, choose Save. You can send the request straight away by choosing Send now or choose Later if you want to preview the message and/or modify it before sending.
Please note! After the customer has completed the identification, you will have to approve it to finish the procedure in the system.
Good to know
Administrators can save the defaults from an existing request by clicking Save as default settings. After which those settings will be used as defaults in the future, when adding a new identification request. Please note! The settings will apply to all users.
You can copy the link for the for the request by choosing the request in question and then choosing Copy URL to clipboard. This way, you can manually send the link for the recipient, if for some reason the automatically sent e-mail did not reach the recipient.
Manual identification
Information about an identification can also be added manually. To load from your computer e.g. a copy of passport, go to Identification -> Add new manual identification
- Enter name, personal identity code and PEP information manually, include attachment and save. People added using this method are also automatically put on sanctions list monitoring.

Customer can identify with Finnish bank ID
Finnish mobile ID
Customer can identify with Finnish mobile ID
Passport reader
Customer can identify by downloading and using a easy to-use mobile app, which carries out the identification process by comparing the customer’s selfie with the information on a passport or ID card (requires an biometric passport or ID card with a chip)
Copy of passport
(Please note that this method does not fulfill the requirements of a strong electronic identification)
Customer can identify by attaching a passport copy (JPG or PNG -file) and adding the information of the passport manually
Swedish BankID
Customer can identify with Swedish bank ID
Norwegian BankID
Customer can identify with Norwegian bank ID
Norwegian BankID on mobile
Customer can identify with Norwegian mobile bank ID
Danish MitID
Customer can identify with Danish bank ID
Smart-ID
Customer can identify with Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian mobile ID
